98 towncar, shows codes that both banks are running lean, did it after accidently filling up half way with e85 gas and the other half premium to compensate. Runs great, no sputters or stalls whatsoever, but light came on and said both banks were running lean. I just wanna reset the thing to see if she ever pops up again. It's probably something like pump the gas 3 times and start or start it like 30 times or some goofy stuff, but i dont know. Thanks for any info. Baker

You will need a obd2 scan tool to reset the light. Some times if the condition corrects it's self the light will turn off by it self, if it does not cook your converters before then.

if you dont have enough time to get it to autozone or use a scanner then do it the old fashon way. disconnect the negative battery cable, go into your car and place your foot on the brake for 20 seconds. then disconnect the positive battery cable (make sure the negative battery cable is still disconnected) and touch a wrench between the negative and positive battery cable while they are both disconnected from the battery. this will run a "jumper" through the entire system, making the computer think that it came right out of the factory with all the original factory settings in tact...which means no check engine light. then after about a minute, take the wrench away and reconnect the positive and negative battery cables to the battery and start the car. :iceslolan
