I am pretty lame when it comes to automobiles. I do know how to change a spare though, did it just a few weeks ago. My spare used to just be in the bed of my pick-up, but the last time I took it to the shop the guys put it back under my truck. since I moved I have not been able to find my owner's manual. Now I have a flat, and I don't know how to get the darn spare out from under my truck.
I drive a 1995 Nissan Pickup. Any help would be appreciated.

behind the seat is a long bar that is used to thread through the back of the bumper and into a ratcheting nuckle just above and center of the spare tire.
as you crank it (one way or the other) it loosens or tightens the chain the holds the tire in place.
so lower the tire with the bar and when it is at it's lowest point push the chain tee back through the center hole of the tire rim .
thus releasing your spare...
