please help hood cable broke

hi guys . im new to this forum . please help . ive got a 91 buick park avenue ultra . the hood cable is broken and i had it ran out the front grill to pop the hood . well now it wont pop the lock either:banghead: . please if anyone knows how to open the hood with the cable not working let me know . im 100% sure the cable is not connected.thanks for all your help . will try anything apart from blowtorching lol..

try lift the car and reaching up between the bumper and the a/c condensor and pulling the release. no other thoughts
