this may be a stupid question but electic cars get stuffed if they get wet like in the rain?

depends, It not really recommendable, but if you shield the open parts an dthen put the shell over, it IS possible I think, but I surely wouldnt do it, just incase murphy's law kicks in

as long as you have a sealed ESC and a sealed receiver you'll be alright. If your brushless i wouldn't recommend it.

thanks guys...ive got a nitro but its stuffed. I was against electric cars but ive heard that they are just as fast and the accelerate quicker!!

i kinda wanna get one now, not any time soon though.

electrics CAN be fast. some are faster then nitro out of the box but not many.

electrics can be made cheap speed but its not as cheap as you think.. they both have there strong points. I prefer Nitro myself as I love the noise.
