Hit 100K miles

Well, I've been dreading the day, but today I hit 100,000 miles. :banghead: I knew it was bound to happen, but I didn't want it to happen. It's ok. I was with my g/f when it happened and I stopped the car and wished her a happy bday. My g/f then went and started slapping me. She's got no DSM love. :shakehead

So just a list of my plans...
-By 110k, head swap with full head rebuild
-By 130k, tranny swap/rebuild (clutch, flywheel... the works. lsd?)
-By 160k, lower end rebuild.

Now, these things will get done LONG before those miles, but I set high goals so I can at least get there. Head will be done by about 105k or so. But you know, just want to be able to reach these goals. :sunglasse

I want my car completely redone before it reaches 105,962 miles... Oh look, I only have one more mile until I reach that goal! lol :p

I can't wait till my shit runs again...

Congrats on the 100k miles mark... I was doin 85mph when mine rolled over and I stopped in 4 lanes of rush hour traffic and took a picture. lol

LOL Me too, I was stop the car and take the pix from my cell phone.

I set my trip meter so that when the car had 99,999 my trip meter read all 9's too so on a 65mph highway, there I was pulled over and taking a picture of it. My buddy thought I was an idiot, but he just doesn't understand. :)

Congrats on the milestone. I am at 98k myself. I believe you get a plaque for the front of your ride like the old Mercedes' that reach 1,000,000 miles get haha.

The body of my car is at 190K!!!!!

The cavalier is at 90K, I too will be taking a pic at the 100K mark, lol.

My Oldsmobile is at 56,000 miles. It's an 1988 Cutlassa Ciera. Oh yeah, low miles baby.

I just hit 130k miles the other day. I feel kinda sad, but rebuild is gonna get taken cared of. I just woundered what kind of punishment can a engine take with that many miles ? I just got fuel system ( thanks to your opinions ) and will be running higher boost and i just have a bad feeling that I will blow something ( WITH MY LUCK )
