Diagnostic testing

How do you test the computer in a 91 prelude. i looked under the passenger side floormat and the code seemed to come out as 44. i havent found any diagnostic codes that fit that number. the check engine light has always been on in my car.
Also, how do you test the ABS. that light is on too but i think it is just because i have a frozen rear caliper. I know for a fact that the ABS is not working because my brakes have locked up before.

A code 4 is your CKP Crank Position Sensor. A code 44 does not exist to the best of my knowledge, there is a 43 and then a 45, but no 44. But regardless, if it is your crank angle sensor you need to get it fixed asap. As far as the ABS, you need to get that checked out as well, as it is very dangerous to be running with a stuck caliper. You shouldnt even be driving the car.

The car runs fantastic. i Just replaced the motor with a JDM B20A and the front brakes have all new rotors and pads so as far as how it runs and stops its great. but when it starts up the rpms seem to surge from 1500 to 2000 while it is cold. could this problem be related? I plan on having the rear caliper replaced with new rotors and pads soon so if i need somekind of sensor I'll get that done too.
Thanks for all your help
by the way how do you read the diagnostic codes so i can check it again.maybe I was reading it completely wrong.
