rear problem

need help with a bad clunking noise from rear of 95 Z28. even when not in gear (neutral) car grabs and stops when in gear car grabs wheel acts as though it is tgrying to lock up. what could this be? thanx

Sounds like either you have a bad bearing or a couple of your gear teeth are sheared off. Gotta open it up to see which.
