Need some input here guys! I live in Washington state and well, it rains quite abit. My question is what would be the best way to orient a new cold air intake? I've seen it done around the battery area, but, I would be alittle concerned about possibly drawing water up. Is this a normal prob.? what would you guys do?:screwy:

I don't have a solution for your problem, but I'm wondering how you got the intake around the battery. There's so little space within the engine compartment! How did you do it?

alot of people put it where the battery compartment is and then put the battery in the trunk. thats how my boys did it. if not, you put the cold air intake where the filter box is and remove the box. just make sure you reattach the engine ground that is under the filter box and attached by the passenger side bolt that holds the filter box assembly.
