Intake manifold reversable

88 buick 3.8 can the intake manifold be reversed? I am trying to get the air intake to come off the front of the engine. I am hoping that the intake is A-symmetrical.

But why do you want to move the air intake? why not just build a CAI to pull air in from behind the headlight?

I am putting the engine in an Isuzu trooper and dont have alot of clearance at the back of the engine.

I may have to have the MAF sensor adapter modified to allow me to get the air system installed.
