Hey guys, I have a 1988 plymouth reliant (same as dodge aries) ands I got it given to me for the derby. The car was already stripped and everything. I have to drive the car in a parade next weekend so I need help fast! Me and my buddy stuck a fuel pump out of a 91 sonata in it (both 4 cyl) and it just keeps flodding itself. The first time we had it running and we took it for a drive. It seemed to run fine but i took my foot off the gas and it almoststalled so I put it in neutral and floored it to try and get some air into it. It was just spuddering. So we took it back up to the barn and had a look in the carb / throttle body (not sure what it is) and sure enough it was flodding when it was idling. We figured it might be the carb / throttle body so I took one off of my old erby cars (94 acclaim, same engines) and it was still flodding itself, but not as bad as before. What my question is was there a fuel pump for these cars oris it gravity feed? if there is a fuel pump, would it be different then the sonata pump? how many PSI should the pump be? Like I said i need a fast response so any suggestions would help. Thanks in advance, Deven
