I must say, that's a very nice car. I would probably take off the badges on the back, tint the windows 20% all around, and then that's it. Those are some SWEET ass eyelids, they make it look sooooo mean from the front.

If you lowered that beast and put some nice wheels on it, it'd probably be one of the nicest SRT's that I know. Some black 18's with polished lip and lowered like 1", that'd be sweeeeeeet.

Definitely do not go with CF unless you are going to paint it, it would ruin the look from the front, take away from the eyelids like everyone else said.

There used to be a flame red 05 in town that had Enkie 5 spoke bronze 18s with a cf hood that that was a sexy car. I also like the red with white racing stripes but I know that I'm goin to leave the exterior stock at least untill I finish all the performance I want to do cough*50 trim*cough

Oh yeah, bronze rims on anything but a black car FTL. Even then I dont like bronze rims that much. IMO it sucks to be a red car because getting some rims for it is hard, I dont really like any color rims on a red car.

I love bronze rims, clipsekid's car looks pimp with those bronze wheels on it. I'm thinking about getting a beater 1g for work and I might put some bronze wheels on it.

So whats the difference between the normal SRT and the stage 2 cuz im not up on my neon knowledge lol. Those lids r sweet i think it totally changes the attitude of the car. How much was it i know thats a lot of bang for the buck but how much did you drive it off the lot for?

stage 2 is a factory installed / warrantied performance package. makes pretty decent power, just very conservatively (warranty)

stage 2 is a new ecu, 682cc injectors, 3.0 bar map sensor, upgraded wastegate accuator, and a 3.0 bar tip sensor. Also I have the turbo toys option so that adds dial-a-boost which is basically an in cabin boost controller and high octane mode which is basically a button that you can push if your running 100+ oct and it will advance the timing to match. All and all according to modernperformance stage 2 with a mopar cat back is good for 265hp and 280ft lbs at the wheels on pump 280hp and 300ft lbs on race.

I had the chance to buy a stage 3, for 18k. It had maybe 20k miles and was owned by one of the employees at the dealership. It was crazy fast, but I didn't want to pay interest as high as the bank wanted me to... so I passed...

Stage 3 is overrated IMO there are better kits out there for half the price.

I wouldn't have had to pay any extra... it was dealer installed for the previous owner... they also tuned it, to make 300+ hp...

I'm just saying that stage 3 isnt all its cracked up to be. stage 1 with bolt ons can be just as fast as a car with just stage 3

Nice car. Not a fan of neons but the SRT's are ok. Do you miss the AWD? I also like those wheels. I was going to get the same ones for my car except in gunmetal. They're pretty cheap too. I think with rims and kumho 712's they were a grand shipped, mounted and balanced.
