Dacia Logan

A very cheap car with a reliable Renault Engine. It's the cheapest car in Europe in its size. Did anyone tried it already? Are you satisfied so far?

I tried it, it's a good car, overall for the price and the caracteristics of the car. It's more or less like a Renault 19. It's very reliable, very big inside (space behind like in a 607 or an E Class) for a price from EUR7 500, or 5 000 in the emergeant countries.
Good confort, correct handling, etc. Good car in general, overall for the price. And the space is bigger in the MCV (station wagon) with the possibility to have 7 seats.

I'm from Romania (the motherland of Dacia cars) and I have a BMW M3 car but is old 12 years and 300000 Km and I want to buy a new car but I can't decide between a new Dacia Duster or a used BMW M3 from 2004-2005. I'm pretty plesed with the bimmer but Dacia has low service prices and is a car produced in my country and the car services are fast.

If somewone want's a new good but cheap car produced in UE then DACIA is the brand for you you can get a Dacia Logan fully equiped with 7500 euro and a SUV (Dacia Duster) with 11000 euro (standard version) up to 15000 fully equiped.

I think Dacia Logan is nice and compact family car the price is so attractive. The starting price is under £7,000 for entry-level model.

This may seem like a dumb question but is the only difference between a Dacia and a Renault the appearance? Do they have the same engine, made in the same factory etc?

What makes the Dacia significantly cheaper than the Renault?
