Hey my geo metro recently had it's engine changed and after it was replaced we don't get any spark the engine will turn over but it won't spark. We have replaced the ECM as well as the pick-up coil and ignition coil. We picked up a spark tester and are positive there is no spark coming from the ignition coil. Any suggestions?

check the ground wires that bolt to back of the intake manifold and make sure its there and that the two behind the radiator overflow bottle are there and tight

take cap off dist and have someone crank engine over to see if your rotor is turning

On most GEO's I have worked on, there is a thick ground wire that goes from the back of the firewall to one of the bolts on the distributor mount. This ground wire can be "unclipped" in the middle. Make sure that wire is present and plugged together. Also, make sure the distributor signal wire is connected properly down by the rear of the head under the intake manifold.
