a/c heater question??

Im kinda new at this, so this is probably a pretty dumb question. ive got an 89 civic dx hb. we just put in a d15b. the previous owner ripped out the a/c and heater so now we are replacing that. anything special we need to know about how to do this? can we put in stock parts? will it work with the vtec?

the vtech has nothing to do with it as far as stock parts just make shure the years mathc then you are all good
