Finding Electrical Short

FELLAS, PLEASE HELP ME OUT. HOW DO YOU LOCATE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT WHICH HAS PUT OUT MY INTRUMENTS PANEL LIGHT AS WELL THE FACTORY OEM RADIO ? . THIS SHORT IS PREVENTING ME GETTING IGNITION EVEN THOUGH STARTER TURNS OVER BUT NO CRANK.

THE CAR IN QUESTION IS TOYOTA AVALON 1995. I HAVE CHECKED ALL FUSES AND RELAYS BOTH IN ENGINE BAY AND UNDER DASH AS WELL AS EVEN REPLACING ENGINE WIRE HARNESS, ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRING AND HEADBOARD. ENGINE USED TO RUN VERY STRONG BEFORE.

CAN A MINOR SHOVE ON BOTH PASSENGER DOORS AT THE LOWER SIDE CREATE A SHORT ? THE GRILL AND DRIVER SIDE SIDE LIGHT ARE LOOSE. CAN THESE CREATE A SHORT. PLEASE HELP.

Yes, if the wiring is damaged. Look for places where the wiring is rubbing. Look at a wiring diagram and highlight the circuits that are affected, then look for common locations of a failure.
