I wont list everything I have had replaced but I will say I am glad i had a warrenty, I am new here and I am looking for a simular thread about vehicle not starting, I have no codes, turns over rough, misses, eventually if enough juice it does start. I see about ignition switch and wonder if that is problem key gets stuck ocasionally. it has been sitting for a few days and i have been starting daily or trying to, i am afraid i will never get it started soon. any simular problems or direction would be apreciated. its a 97 with 98k

Do you mean the starter doesn't turn the engine good?
You might have the battery checked at your local auto parts store. The batteries in my yard show from 12.51 to 12.61 volts on a digital volt/ohm meter.
A weak battery with insufficient voltage will:
Burn up a perfectly good starter due to high current/amp draw.
Burn up a perfectly good alternator due to a constant full charge rate on a worn out battery.
Cause hard start issues due to insufficient voltage to spark the ignition coil/plugs.

no it rolls over good, fast, volts dont know, but i did put trickle charger on for awhile and it started then. this is just become noticable when i go to start after it sits overnight. then when i drive it it feels like it shifts back and forth from 1-2 or am i feeling a miss, i dont notice rpm changes. thinking ig switch, key gets stuck sometimes .and i have the wiring gremlin, unplugeg lumbar. but the tumbler is not called the ign switch it is differant correct?

I have no ignition switch experience but the manual shows the switch and key tumbler as seperate but mechanically connected devices.
Hopefully someone aquainted with your problem will offer some advice.

replace the ignition switch. It is the first thing to replace on a 1997.
