Actually I don't mind that car. Granted I'd never buy it or probably drive it, but for an escort he did a decent job. Take off that wing and maybe those graphics, and it's a cool lookin car. I think he did a great job for it being an Escort and all.

It's all right.. for a domestic :) I like how the interior is all done up, but the steering wheel is still stock and sticks out so much.

I like how on his next post he writes "do you know how hard it is to tell someone you drive an escort?" Haha, I thought that was funny. But seriously, if he took off that wing and put on a nice universal low spoiler, that'd be a sweet ride (I still wouldn't drive it though)

My thoughts exactly. The interior is kinda tacky, but I like the body work for the most part (except that wing, not for that car).

well i didnt know g unit built cars but whatever its ugly and will probally blow up real soon. if i put all that money into my car and it only 200hp on 8lbs or whatever cause i know it cant handle the 18lbs he says that makes 300hp i would be pretty upset.

I'm not a ford fan by any means... but I'd have to say that is impressive. I'd also say that's the nicest Escort I've ever seen. Also, to squeeze 300hp out of it, damn... 2.0 that puts out no more than 130 stock (if it was ZX2)...

still don't know that I'd wanna drive it though...

The guy kinda says, "I just let the numbers do the talking...". He has a point: tell people you drive an escort, and they'll think of something completely different to what he's done to it. I wouldn't personally ever spend that dough on an escort, but then again, I'm sure lots of other folks think that we're all retarded for dumping so much into our DSMs. But take the wing off, and you have a decent car.

I don't know why people have such a problem with Fords in the first place.
While I am not a particular fan of the escort. I agree. If you take that wing off, yeah you have an escort, but you still have a 300+hp escort. And you definately don't see that much.

Strange how Ford and their POS's manage to have three of the most reliable cars according to Consumer Reports.
