Crank, no start

1997 Jimmy cranks but won't start. Fuel pump is working, fuel pressure ok, spark ok. Followed flow chart from AllData, replaced ignition control module, and Vehicle control module. Also replace ignition switch. All ground wires are good, wiring harness connection to items replaced good. Please HELP!

Replace the cap/rotor with Delco or at least try another one - seen spark but to multiple cyl and no start - pissed me off for several days. Then again as you read, the 97 only has a problem ignition switch that causes many problems (actually the ign module assembly in the column).

I had a Camaro that way once..plug sparked fine in the open air but evidently couldn't spark on compression stroke. Replaced the ignition coil.
