i have some questions about a 97 GST 5 spd.
the car has 93,xxx miles. the body is near perfect shape. i think the motor needs valve adjustments. clutch replaced with new oem.
asking $9910...is it a good buy???
also, in modifying a GST, wut are some good cams, turbo upgrade, front mount intercooler and does a apex s-afc help a GST at all???
thanx to all who read this.

$10000 is pretty steep for a 97 with that many miles and a car that needs a brand new clutch ($500) and a valve job ($400-$800) I would say that $6000-$7000 is much more reasonable. As far as mods go, if you are going to mod you car, replace the clutch with an aftermarked one, ACT 2100 or 2600 instead of a stock one, so you dont have to switch later. Webcams with the 264/272 intake exhaust grind are the most cost effective way to go, the Big16G is a solid turbo upgrade, but it require bigger fuel injectors a fuel computer and a new fuel pump, the big greddy FMIC is the best IC on the market for our cars. If you do end up buying this car make absolutely sure that you get it in as perfect running condition as you can before you start modding, otherwise you'll only be cursing yourself later.

you go with an aftermarket clutch, disengage the sensor that makes it so you have to push your clutch to the floor when starting,no oil in the head with that heavier clutch may = faster crankwalk.
