93 Nissan Sentra NSS Problem?

I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra XE and when I turn the key, 80% of the time it won't start unless I first put the key in the ACC position and shift it to Neutral first. If I do that, it always starts up. Do I need a new Neutral Safety Switch? If so, how much am I looking at?
