The internet's losing its pizzazz.

Honestly, porn only goes so far anymore. Seems like the internet is really starting to get boring (or has been for a while). The only sites I regularly go to any more is this one and myspace.

So I was wondering, what kind of cool, unique, fun websites do you guys usually go to to kill some time? I mean sites with games, funny movies, maybe racing sims, anything like that. And not ebaumsworld.com, I've beatin that site to death. Gracias!

lol! yeah, that's true. um...I'm with you. I like distractions when i do my classes and h/w (distance learning, all online) but for a quick fix, i have like:

I agree I have been on less and less. I wish this forum was more active sometimes. Myspace also has lost its fun I rarely go on there as well.

I found a good tool to use when your bored is Stumble. It really keeps your interests when you have nothing to do cause it always gives you somthing you'd like everytime just about.

in the next few weeks running up to christmas i've got:

climbing/bouldering induction classes
paintball session
a new martial arts class (two sessions a week)
5 days in HK
a weekend in venice
a weekend in lisbon

the internet is part of my life, not all there is.
if you are after ONE thing that will give you all that you want, then you'll be searching for a long time.

Eesh, take it easy. Its not like I'm a bum or somethin, just looking for something that'll keep me occupied for a bit. I'm joining the Air Force in January so I'll be getting plenty of "outside" experiences. Plus I've gotta fix my car this weekend, then drive 4 hrs to pick up my last paycheck and pay off some tickets. Then I've got my ex-gf's surgery to go to and a whole list of other things I could bitch n' complain about. Its not like I have nothing to do all day, just looking for something interesting to do in my downtime.

me and my friends found that site a few years ago just making up site names. That site is so messed up and funny.

Surely you have some sort of hobby or interest. If not, pick one up. I decided earlier this week that I'm gonna write a script since I enjoy creative writing. When I'm not doing that I'm teaching myself spanish, trying to brush up on my french, reading a few books I bought used on Amazon for real cheap, random sketching, cleaning up the various messes I leave around the house. But unfortunately I have little time to do most of that between school, being my family's slave, and working :frown:

Let me explain. I just moved back to Dallas after going going to Houston to go to UTI. I went there for 5 months while working 40 hrs a week. I slept 4 hrs a day if I was lucky. I quit UTI because it felt like a waste of time and now I'll be joning the Air Force in January. I've got plenty of stuff that still needs to be taken care of, so its not like I'm sitting around the house all day. I'm simply looking for something to waste time on when I just want to sit at the computer and relax.

It was a simple question that I wanted a simple answers to. Thanks for those that have helped.

In a sense, you become bored with what you are used to. If going on the internet on an almost daily basis for AF and Facebook/Myspace is boring you, try this: unhook your internet for like half a day. seriously, 12 hours. maybe then you'll have ideas for what you want out of the internet: Movie previews, game cheats, Jessica Alba, artist's tour dates, etc...
I feel the same way sometimes, but my internet was out for a day or so this week. it was hell.

Not yet. I'm still mapping out ideas for my script which is actually more suspense (I'm a joker and a jackass, but I LOVE suspense). But I'm thinking about developing an idea for a sitcom that me and my roommate thought about a few years ago. Its based on this funny ass african guy we know.

Maybe I'll develop a sitcom kinda like The Office, but based on a guy running an internet bulletin board a la AF... hmmmm
