Front Wheel Bearing Questions

Car: 98 VW JettaMy right wheel bearing needs to be replaced. What tools do i need to do this job?.
Can I get a quick overview of how to do it? My chiltons isn't very clear. Ex remove tie rod, remove lower ball joint etc.
Also will I need an new alignment when I am done?
Will a wheel bearing press help?
Sorry bout the questions but It needs to be done. Thanks
