There seems to be a problem. I went to drive my car the other day and i noticed it was raining like hell. Well when i pulled of i heard a dripping noise. I had water inside of my dome light. I don't know what can cause that, so if you have any feed back with this plz let me know thanks....

Is your CRX an Si? If so, the sunroof will do it, possibly the drain tubes are clogged.

Water is probably leaking through your sunroof. (Do you have a sunroof?) That would be the most obvious guess. It could be that your sunroof drain pipes are clogged and water is gathering in the roof, instead of being drained out your wheel wells.

EDIT just saw frotos post, my bad

Accually its not that impossable, under the roof trim there is a seam and on old cars its not that uncommon for the seam sealer to wrot and cause water to seep threw, then sometimes travel along the support beams, and possably come out of the dome light.

It could be..lets put it this way..Unless your roof has a hole in it (and if it does, stop looking now) then its in the seams around the edges..could be the hatch, coule be the sides, could even be the windshield leaking..drain the dome light and try to pinpoint the leak, use water around all the seals till you find the leaky one.

Its more likely to be the gasket around the antenna then it is the weather stripping... water usually doesnt run up hill.

Well, all of the things I mentioned are slightly higher than the headliner, and when accelerating, water could easily go up and over the peak of the headliner..or vice versa.

mine only leaks when the car is parked. When its moving nothing comes in.

drop the headliner and sit in the car while a friend sprays it down with a hose. try it with the car slanted at different angles to try and pinpoint the leak.
