wheel question

i just ordered the fujimi CR-X so i can do a model of my friends car (the fastest car in the entire town of a whopping 30,000 people.) I have a couple questions though, how could i do an atezza style tailight like his has? i also need to know where i could find rims that look similar to thes (i hope this pic works.) Any help would be appreciated

are the back lights molded onto the body? if they are just paint the inside silver and put clear red on the actual bulbs, if they come with red plastic just use that.......have you tried searching or looking on HLJ or any other big model site?

thanks for the wheels (ordered em already.) As for the light, i don't know yet, i just ordered the model from tinyimports, so i don't know how they're molded. also, if they're molded in clear white, could i use aluminum foil to make the shimy parts, just a thought, i may be a idiot.

If you can cut the right shape out for the lights it will look cool.....But it might be better to paint them, should wait till you get the kit....have a look then.

As far as I know, none of Fujimi kit has clear red part. And in the CR-X Si, all lenses are molded together with windshield and other clear parts.
I don't recommend painting silver or applying foil directly on the back of the tail light part, because that will lose the sense of depth.
What you can do is to leave the clear part unpainted, and paint the body side silver, then add red spots, where the bulbs are. That should vaguely show the red through white lens cover.
