Tried posting this last night but for some reason I haven't figured out ran into technical issues :icon16:

Model is of Roger Feghali's 2003 Rally Lebanon Impreza WRC, decals are from Studio27, kit is obviously the Tamiya 2001 WRC kit.

Wow! That looks great. The paint is perfect and it's all so clean. And you've added just the right details to make it come alive. The livery is also very sexy. I especially like the wash in the wheels. It's all just right. Great work, man, great work.

LOL, I actually finished my Impreza with the exact same livery about a week ago, except sporting 6-spoke rims instead. Beautiful job, it puts mine to shame.

Hi Ray,

this thread and my reply got deleted somehow (and I guess you know more about that (: ). but the pictures do work this time.
I still wonder why you choose to build this car.
It looks fantastic by the way.

Excellent model. I have this decal sheet in my 'to do' pile. Can I ask you for some tips on getting the decal over the bonnet scoop? Looking at the decal on the sheet it seems to me this will be difficult, but the end result on yours is superb!

Grant.

Love it Ray! Seems like forever we saw a completed model from you (like I can talk!) and it's a beauty. What unusual Subi is next on the agenda. :)

The wash in the wheels make it look verry realistic.

I was wondering what'd you'd been working on... I mean, I could have guessed, but this surprise is more fun :)

The only thing the bums me out is the stupid Tamiya sticker reflectors for the taillights. I'm gonna see if the 04/05 taillight bezels from the Tamiya WRC kits can be made in to better-than-foil-sticker substitutes for the bugeye kits (like this, or the S202. ;) )

Why not? It's a Subaru in a different livery :)

What unusual Subi is next on the agenda.

You'd be surprised....or if you know me as well as I think you do, you won't :icon16:

Jay, been thinking the same thing about the tail lights, I may actually make the effort on some of the more details 2001's I have planned (including the one with the engine detail I started some time back).

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys, glad you like to see another Scooby :)

Don't get me wrong (: I really like the livery, but I've never seen this car so I wondered how you came across it.
