coil over adjustment

I had some coil over installed in my ride about a yr and half ago. Now i want to raise the back of the car. When adjusting the perch should i raise it or lower it. When i raise it, it looks like the spring becomes smaller and when i drop the perch it looks like the spring goes higher and im thinking that its raising the car. I should already the answer, but dont please help.

Raising the perch lifts the spring, the spring is what holds the car up, so this also lifts the car. Same thing in reverse for lowering.
