Just a word of caution.
This is my history with this "so-called" engine installation facility.
First I purchased an engine, rebuilt, from AEI for a quoted price of $2800.
Everything was going good until the old engine was removed.
The shop manager called and tried to sell me all the belts and hoses and such for ridiculous prices. I told him I would do that myself. He then dug deeper and found a cracked motor mount and said another was going bad, OK, replace them. He called again, the studs for the exhaust manifold had to be cut off so I need to replace it. When all was said and done, this $2800 engine cost $4000.
A few weeks after that, during an oil change, I was informed that the #3 cylinder was missing. Per the warranty, we took it back to the shop. They couldn't find anything wrong, and told me they had no one to read the diagnostic equipment they had.
We took it to our personal mech. and he found that the intake manifold was installed wrong and there was a vaccuum leak over #3. The shop then wanted to charge us to fix it. We went back and forth and they finally fixed it free of charge, but while fixing it, they broke the temp. sensor and charged us for it.
We got the truck back and in a couple weeks, there was an oil leak from the same manifold gasket. we fought about it again and they fixed it again. Only this time, it seems like the mech. that "tried" to fix it, tried to grind the manifold, which is warped by now, in the shop and needless to say, now there is metal in the engine and its in getting a new engine installed again.
I would caution anyone trying to use this shop in Milwaukee. Drive the extra 50 or so miles to Chicago to get it done.
If it wasn't for the warrenty, that is what I would have done.
If this doesn't fix the problem, Legal action is the only thing left.
So far this $2800 engine is up to about $6000 out of my pocket.
Anyone else have issues like this?

Why would you pay for things they broke or cut off?

Should of went with a Jasper, better warrenty and it is a nationwide one too.You can take it to any Jasper dealer for warrenty work and they pay for warrenty claims, the labor.Jasper puts in new parts and does updates.I have heard of this, but another company putting in the old bearings.

Laxman21 - I paid for them just to get it over with. I was so frustrated and P@$$%& off at this garage that I just wanted to get the truck out of there.
Wafrederick - After this latest ordeal with them, and having to get the engine replaced again, I am starting to think that that might be what they did, used the old bearings and now they went.
I could have gotten a junkyard engine and had the local high school auto shop put it in and gotten better service.

There is another one to stay away from and I do remember it now,Accurate engines.I have heard of them putting in the old bearings in too.Only reman engine I recomend is from Jasper. They use the highest quality parts from Federal Mogal,Clevite which are made in the USA.They find the flaws and improve the certain parts
