Help! - DIY stuff

I am at the point where i want to have a minimal outlay on my modifications, but still want more power. Can anyone relate to cash flow probs when it comes to doing up cars??

anyway, i'm looking to bore out my throttle body (5mm oversize), and port match it with my plenum. I've been trawling the net to find out the best way to do this. Can anyone help?

If i start feeling a bit more brave after this expedition, i'm going to port my head too. Is it gonna be too much trouble popping off the cam cover and all that other shit?
