does look good so far, and mesh for the openings would look good too, even though they look as they need a little evening out to be more symetrical (sp) or is it just the angle of the shot? got any more pics? keep up the good work.

Thanx 4 all of the positive comments.
And to answer your ?, if I could find any mesh i would.
I just made the openings more symetrical, it looks good considering i did it with a xacto knife. I dont know if i should invest money on a dremel.

Go here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/upload/) and then copy and paste the links from there into here but putting the IMG code around the link in here. you can click the IMG button up on the toolbar and then paste your link there and let it do the work for you

yes Jay, since every teen age boy has those laying around :D
I've been trying to figure out what to do with my hood for the same car that I'm building, but haven't decided yet. :)

It was pretty easy to do the hood openings, took me about 30 minutes to draw them, then to cut them out and sand the openings. I did it without a Dremel.;)

That's looking good so far..
a few things you need to do would be to clean up the edges on the hood vents, and sand the edges thinner to get a scale look. Right now the sheetmetal on that bonnet would be about an inch thick in real life.
