Well guys I have finally finished turboing the gs. I spent about 6 months gathering parts and about a year of research. It took a week to get the whole thing together, most of that time waiting on the oil bolt. Anyways, the car is a hell of alot faster. I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made. Im running about 7psi.
Heres most of the parts we used:
14bTurbo
1g BOV
FMIC
Custom made manifold
2.5" turbo back exhaust
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Vortech 12:1 FMU
Boost, oil press, fuel press, and EGT gauges

There are alot of little things that i left out. The whole thing cost around $1200. Here are some pics of the install, there are more in my gallery.

I smell a write-up...

Looks good man. Get some numbers and let us know what your running now. It's nice to see somebody complete a job like this every once in awhile.

I might do a quick write-up, there is already a great one done by gsgoinfast.

It was very aggrivating at some times but deffinatly worth it. It was a good experience. There are a lot of little things i would have done different but it works so I'm going to leave it alone for now.

Nice job. I was contemplating turboing the RS but I have an AWD project to finish first. Maybe then I'll buy another 420a and then mod the shit out of it.

Thanks for the comments guys, Ill put together some kind of write up when I get some time. To answer some of your questions - The car has been lowered about 2 inches, i have some better pics ill put up. And the 1g bov is plenty loud. I was actually surprised at how good it sounded. I was also trying to keep this project fairly cheap.

If I own a gs and turbo it, I call it a RS-T , cause gst sound so common. RS-T sound cooler:wink: .

This was about a week prior to the turbo going on. I didn't want to have to install everything at one time. And I already had one intercooler pipe made ahead of time.
