idle problems

I had a leak in the exhaust pipe. Prior to repairing this hole the car ran fine. I have had an idle problem here and there but would happen very sudden and go away. When I say here and there, maybe twice in the last year. Now the car is jumping 1000rpm's and is shutting off from time to time. Also, driving down the road the car will cut out. An error code came up (P0102). Has anyone had this problem and would you have any advice for me. Thanks

P0102 indicates a Mass Air Flow Circuit-low input. This could be due to a corroded/dirty connection, bad sensor, or pcm problem. Usually, if the wires passes a visual inspection, then the MAF needs cleaning/replacement.
