Astra radio recoding

Trying to recode my radio after maintenance I initially had the wrong code. Four attempts later I now have the right code. The problem is the set will not let me access the code. I am following the correct procedure and have let the set 'time out' but it will not change from 6 SAFE to 6 - - - - to allow the code to be input. Any suggestions.

i have the same problem when i turned it on it would say 10 ----



so i enterd a random code and held in ml or as not shure wich 1 i dun this 4 times and its now stuck on 6---- help plzz

:banghead:You have to go to a dealer or get a code number and it will unlock and work. I recently purchased a used Astra and went through the same problem.
