Just bought myself a 1988 750il, i love it the only problem is that the brakes are fine for the first 5 miles and then they start binding, its just started doing this, has anyone got any idea's or maybe a braking system diagram. Does this system use an accumulator bomb and where might i find it, any info would be a help as both me and my mechanic are baffled as to why this should happen.

Your brakes are hydraulic and yes there is a bomb (accumulator) but the purpose is to give you some emergency braking in the event of hydraulic failure. Bomb failure is evidenced when you have an emergency braking situation and the brake pedal becomes rigid (no braking) and you must release the pedal and reapply to get normal braking. The system on your cart is different from a normal pneumatic system as you have a master cylinder and a brake servo (no pneumatics here) everything is hydraulic. My 1988 750 never had binding issues so I cannot comment on that issue. The brake system (other than what I mentioned) is pretty straight forward with all wheels having disc pads.
