:screwy: i got it for 800 bills and mileage is 57,500.pretty decent body,motor apparently in veddy good shape...(will scoot very nicely once its moving round 5 mph,then is when all "hell breaks loose" / tires break asphalt an ya pull a corkscrew if ya cant control it....LOL.....in other words,am i not doin the edlebrock 650 performa any justice by not havin the proper needles/jets together.yes i dont know thing bout tunin' a carb, but damm....... it rockets when its finally movin 5 mph.i guess what im askin is is the right (heads,intake,carb) the right mix for this "LA" motor??i dont even know how to ID the size of tranny.904,727 etc..:banghead:

It's a 727 if it's a 440 car.

is there any NUMBER indication i can look for on the vin or the body tag to indicate that it would be a dana 727 torque-flight?? im just tryin to figure out what mix of parts this thing has so i know what i can hype it up a lil more and yet keep it a "sleeper" ....i do appreciate you reply.thank you. do i need to look on the tranny somewheres? it is specifically a : 1968 coronet 440 with a 318 in it while the intake and carb are aftermarket edelbrocks>Performa series....thanks again:)

It has a 904 trans if it's got a 318 motor.
