I have a problem. My car shakes a lot, when i go over 70MPH. I have put in new tires, got balancing twice, allignment is perfect, but whenever i go over 70MPH, the steering wheel and front wheels vibrates badly. Any solution will be highly appretiated.

125,000 miles. Vehicle is 1999 nissan Maxima, i dont know if shocks have been replaced cause i bought this car used, CV joint's rubber cups are cracked and oil has leaked out of them and the axle clicks when taking a turn , because of that oil leakage.

Theres your problem... you need new joint(s). Check out this page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/25
Then pls swap your shocks before your sailing ends into a ditch...

I asked a mechanic and he told me, car shaking is not due to CV Joints, i mean i am not trying to prove you wrong, but how can CV joints make the car unbalanced?

Mechanic can be right - if he has inspected the axles -and- knows what he sees. Worn joints, bearings may be a source for many problems, and depends how worn they are. All revolving masses may become unbalanced, like tranny... Boots have to be repaired ASAP (if the mech doesnt know this, pls change shop), 100 miles with ripped boots and they are shot, then no need anymore for boots but new axle-joints (see the link).
Wheels on a moving car constantly jump up/down, theyre air filled rubber balloons as u may know... Shock absorbers constantly work to dampen this. This vibration wears the shock absorber axles & seals on the most used area. At 125k miles they have already dampened about 200.000.000 'smaller bumps', now they have re-tire-d. Shocks should be replaced 60k intervals to keep you out from ditch: every timeperiod a wheel spends flying, steering-braking isnt very good:)
Without seeing the shakes, cannot but guess.
