89 Beretta

i have a 89 beretta that needs a motor was going to try and put a 94 lumina 3.1 in it still might do it but does anyone know on here if it would be easier to put a 3.8 litre in it and if so what year range will fit it i have a 3.8 but wasnt sure if it would be easier or not so if anyone could help me out with some info on this i would greatly appreciate it i just think im going to have way to many issues with the wiring on the 94 lumina motor
