93 4l60e tranny problems

Hello, just got done rebuilding a 4l60e tranny, got tranny installed in truck and shifted tranny and it goes forward, tried reverse and sounds like it engages but truck will not move ( cant even push truck in reverse ) i am thinking the band is applied all the time, any assistance would be great ! anyone run into this, i'm hoping this is a simple stupid mistake

Can't push in reverse leads me to believe the sprag may have been installed backward - Not fun.

problem solved, thanks for the replies , it was the servo that was causing the prooblem, for some reason it was appling the band all the time. its very possible that i had something backwards with it as i couldn't tell when i took it apart as it flew apart when i removed the snap ring, thanks again

It is possible to get the 4th servo installed backward and have it not release. That would lock the trans in 1st. Glad you got it.
