96 ETS & Engine lights

My ETS light and Engine ligt is on. Car is making a loud popping sound (right side in back) when stopping and then taking off again. this is not the first time that the lights have come on. they have gone off on their own many times and I have not had any troubles until now . Whats going on?

Welcome to AF !
You'll need to get your car scanned for the trouble codes to know why those lights are on.
On the noise its your rear drum/brakes, probly needs some immediate attention !
Either you shoes are loose or something has broke .
You'll need to take it apart to see whats come loose.
I'd bet your wheel cylinder is bad on the rightside, which would cause a leak and the servise lights to come on.
get the codes and post'm , then we can tell you whats wrong in that aspect.
