My car sitting in the gargage for some long, like 3 week, in those 3 week I did tear many thing out, like TB, and all the intercooler pipe, and find about 4 table spoon of oil that was in the intercooler, cause my pcv was shit( get a new one from mitsubishi dealer $12 !! ), and it send so much oil from the valve cover to intake pipe. I use gasoline to clean all out. On the time I take the all the pipe off, I find out that my shifter is loose ( the bracket with 2 bolt that about to fall off ), I tight it up and now my car shift kinda sticky but I like it. Adjust the TPS and now my check engine light is gone. take it for a ride( I drove around neighborhood, with NO FUCKING HEADLIGHT) , then I fell the car take long time to boost. and check engine light on, I was scare like hell. I drove back home, my car make some click noise on top if the intake manifold, after 5 min looking around, and find out that I forgot to plug the air filter plug :banghead: . so I plug it in and check engine light gone, take it for a ride, it drove normal now. The car idle at 1.3k is this normal for cold weather ? . I fell kinda sticky to when shift, cause I was using redline heavy duty with penzoils tranny fluid. it cold now you guy think I should run stray pennzoils without mix with redline ?
Tomorrow I take the car to dealer for new transfer case install, and wed my halo headlight will come, then the car need to go back to body shop for hood ajustment, and hopefuly before christmas the car will be paint.

Yeah the cars are supposed to idle higher in cold weather until they warm up. Is that redline fluid thicker than the regular pennzoil? If it is, you should run the thinner stuff in the winter, if the Redline thickens it up, you won't get fluid flow for shit = not good.

Sweet. Yeah, that idle is fine for cold weather when it first starts up, but after it warms up it should idle around 800-900 or so. Hope the rest of the rebuilding of the beast goes smooth.

the car still idle at 1k after it warm up. yea redline heavy shock proof gear oil( that support to use only on transfer case and rear diff, but people is been mix 1 quart heavy redline and the rest pennzoil) is way thicker then pennzoil.

Checked the throttle cable yet? It may be a tad too tight.

after I install the TB, I forgot to adjust it, and after drove around it idle at 2k, so I got home and adjust the cable until I cant adjust any more.
