i just got some set of 91 Si Seats for my 88 hatchback (http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1807986#) but the bracket don't seem to align right to bolt them down. what should i do or can i do to make them fit?

try taking the seat rails off of the 88 and try putting them on the 91 seats, there are two bolts holding each rail in...its just a thought I don't know the overall differences. I know a lot of asthetic changes were made between 88 and 91...if that doesn't work you will have to weld in some new mounts in the right spots

If the rails dont work..you could swap the seat pans.

yeah i find it really retarded that none of the combos of seats from 88-89 civic / crx 90-91 civic /crx are even swappable in any of the cars..i bought flawless 90 crx si seats for my 91 civic and i was like "what the fuck!" i just ended up ghetto rigging the damn thing with long bolts n washers and a drill..was hideous

Yeah my 91 dx rails didnt fit on the 91 Si seats.. So I took the bottom of the seat apart and swapped the seat pans, worked beautiful, not an exact match on the foam cuts and fabric, but it stretched and they look great. And they hug your ass just right :P
