another nearly finished one from me: box stock with a few added wires and hoses in the engine bay.
not perfect again, as the primer etched the plastic a bit and i didn't notice until the first coat of paint went on.

Great work. The engine looks great with the wires added. I know you have complained a bit about your paint on this one and on the ferrari 612 but they look almost flawless to me in the pics. Is the roof of the vette a different color or am I seeing things. The only thing I see here to improve is I would add some black trim to the wondows. Other than that it looks perfect.

I love the color that you chose. What color is that exactly? Also, I was just curious what year this vette was and whether this is a R/M or an AMT kit? Great work.

Very clean build so far! The paint is immaculate, inside, out, on the engine, everwhere. And the engine detailing looks perfect! Subtle but it catches you off guard, and looks spot on.
Nice, but where are the wheels?
It's a space car.

i) yeah, the roof is a different colour.
when i painted this part all pics i saw had a black roof. I've only just seen in some that it is actually a glossy roof and not a matt/semi-gloss roof so that'll have to be dealt with.
ii) colour is a tamiya racing/telifonica blue (TS-51) over a white primer base. However, the plastic bled through the primer and turned the whole body pink which would explain the slightly purplish colour this model now has. Not sure if it's that noticeable though but it has given me ideas on the colour of my next new build....
iii) kit is the monogram/revell version of the kit in 1/24.
i've since seen a later kit named "the last ZR-1" that I'm now after as it has a rather nice set of 5 spoke wheels for the car that I like the look of and I want to build a betetr one of these anyway.
iv) wheels aren't on yet as the front wishbones hasn't been done yet and the wheels themselves are stripped and waiting primer+alu paint.
should be able get these three done this weekend as I don't need good eather to just spray wheels.

Nice Work on it, the purplish hue looks good to me, and the wires make the engine.
