starter grinding

every time i start my car it grinds i put in a push button startwhen i use the button it doesnt grind it only does it with the key i thought it might have something to do with the ignition so i went and got a new one but still having the same problem so so im stumped for now anyone got any ideas?

the grinding says there might be something wrong with the solenoid on your starter. I can't think of any reason the grinding would stop with your push button setup. Did you wire into the ignition harness in the steering column for the push button setup..or did you run power straight from the battery, through the switch to the solenoid?
