Well, that "answer" will depend on what type of driving you do. Do you do mostly urban driving? Do you do a lot of highway driving? Do you take it off road at all? How often do you find yourself driving in snow or rain? Do you want an all-season tire, or a dedicated winter tire? Do you want an economical choice, or a high-end tire that will be quiet on the road?
There is no one best tire for all situations.

With that info, hopefully people will offer their suggestions. I haven't had my Mountaineer long enough to put tires on it, I just know I'm not a fan of Goodyear tires.
You may want to read the reviews at Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com)) too for all-seasons on vehicles similar to yours.
Oh, and you may want to correct "Tries" to "Tires" in your subject line to get more readers.
