2JZ in a 4Runner: Adjusting TPS?

Hello, newby here.
Not a supra guy but a 4x4 owner.
I searched and searched and ended up here with my question which nobody seems to be able to answer. Hope there some people who have an answer.
long version (there's no short version):
I swapped a 7M-GE as a testproject in my '90 4R. The 3VZE (3.0 12V V6) was a piece of crap to begin with so going from 150 to 210 hp was plenty in the beginning. Now the 7M-GE is about dead so I swapped it for a Lexus GS300 2JZ-GE.
Removed the tractioncontrolvalve and actuators, fabbed a custom bellhouse to mate my R151F to the 2JZ, custom sump etc.
I also added a new Ct26 and a '92 7M-GTE intercooler (for now) and am running on stock compresion. The ECU/fuel problems will be delt with in 2 weeks.
But for now she runs just fine, smooth like a 2Jz should be except for one small problem.
To get it to run properly after the swap I adjusted the TPS, ignition and a few mechanical adjusting scres on the throlle and VSV? linkage. The problem was she idled at 2500-3000 rpm due to a not working idleservo.
I fixed that, but the damage was done. Now she idles at only 500 rpm and sometimes stalls after turbo boost and an immidiate emergency stop (I make lots of those:grinyes: .
Tried to set everything back to stock but no deal. Problem remains. Even went to the Toyota/lexus dealer. Even they had no clue on how to setup the TPS.
Anybody here know how to, or have a copy of the manual?

Sorry, I've got the 7M, 1JZ(MAP), 5VZ, 2RZ, and 3RZ, but no 2JZ. Now, if it is similar to those setups you can do it using a similar procedure. Apply about 20lbs of vac to the throttle opener keep vac applied through the whole procedure. Use a feeler gauge to adjust the throttle stop screw until there is a gap bewteen the screw and the throttle of .02-.025 in. Now, when the throttle is closed the resistance reading is very low. When it is open the reading is high. Use a multimeter to monitor the reading while you move the throttle sensor through its entire range of motoin. Mark the point where it is at its lowest reading and begins to change. Then mark the point where it stops changing and reaches its max. Those will be your closed and open throttle settings. If it has one make sure the idle air controller is working, and the throttle opener is working.

Okay, that's clear enough. But what is the correct setting? Lowest resistence at closed? Leave the TPS at min. resistence with a closed valve?

Low resistance=throttle closed. The reading on the others is about 200-5000 ohms at the low end and 2000-10000 at the high end. The important thing is that it is low when closed and high when open.

Thanks. I'll give it a test tomorrow.
