2002 purchase?

Hi Guys, I am new to this site and looking for some info. Currently I am looking for a Zo6, and I have found a guy selling his 2002. It is brand new in the factory packaging. I have got him down to 47500, I think I will take it if I can get him to 45K. He is not a dealer and the car has no miles. My questions is, why do you think he is selling it?

Also I am in no big hurry, since winter is approaching where I live in a few months. Does anyone know when the 2004 can be purchased? It is going to be a new body style right? I would hate to buy a C5 and have a C6 come out in less than a year. Any one know any rumors?

Well... the last rumor that I have heard is, at the earliest, fall of this year and most likely spring of next year.
As for the ZO6, that sounds like a great price for NO MILES! Either he can't afford the payments, or there is something wrong with the car big time! I would also check the title before you get too excited!;)
