Brake problems

I need some help I have a 03 Malibu, and my brake light stayes on, as if i'm pushing down on the brake. Everything was working fine until I took my car to get the alarm worked on. Any ideals:shakehead

Check your brake pedal there is a switch that operates the brakes lites the installers probably knocked it out of alignment or try pulling up on the brake pedal.
