Show me the craziest cars you've ever made!:screwy:

Example: The beetlester(I think I got the name right,) A mix of the
beetle and porsche. Sorry, I forget who did that one so I
can't give credit.:banghead:

I once built a mix of a Porsche 928 and a tow truck, I'm going to have to find that one and post pics of it.

This was my attempt to mix VW/Porsche from a few years back......

Nice beetle!
Those rims fit it nicely!

I was thinking of another one, though, a new beetle.

YES! That's it, it was called the bugster.

Thank you, IZsd for finding the pics,
and FerrariTR for making that awesome custom.

Hmm.... Well here's an old one I made--my skills weren't all that great back then, so excuse the various problems with it. But I think a tubbed Nissan 240sx with a blown smallblock qualifies? :icon16:

Where'd you get those steelies?
I need some for a future build.

pfft dozens of AMT and Revell kits? probably the most popular wheels for American kits through the last 20 years or so. I think those ones in particular came from the '69 Shelby Mustang 2n1. I can send you a set if you want. PM me.

I looked on your site, and on the AMT Chevelle, those rims look like steelies, are they? If so, you should have pics of the side of the boxes to show the
2N'1 car's other versions. That's the only reason I don't buy online.

Touche.

That's another kit that they come on, yes.

for a while it was the highest stance car in my fleet till i built this one its sits 1/2"taller than the green one and as far as i know the highest sitting highrider on the net. the wheels are off a 1:18 diecast the suspension was my first attempt so its not all that detailed i just needed the "lifted" look. its all based on various styrene scraps made to look like lift blocks and leaf springs.

The result of a club group build of the old AMT '57 chevy kit.
There's about 40 pieces of 'scratch' in there.
Thanks for remembering the 'Bugster'. The link to the original photo set is in my sig. I wish there was a WIP but that build proceeded my having a good digital camera. Here's a shot from the family album.

Monster truck Scag!
I'll be looking for that build!

I just saw a 1:1 RX7 with an LS1 in the new Hot rod magazine,
and it was running low 8s at around 160 MPH!

It's going to crazy, if I ever start back on it. Haven't done any work in months on it and even then it was barely much.
