exhaust

ok i was thinking of getting a catback exhaust but i was wondering what is the difference if i bought a catback or if i cut off the pipe from the muffler back and weld on a straight pipe and put a performance muffler/tip on it. what will be the difference in do those and which is better???

I'd go with the cat-back exhaust that way you can hang it in the stock location.
