Filler primer or self etching primer?

Alright I've sanded about 97% of the texture out of my panels but there are still some rougher areas, what primer would be better to fill them? I used filler primer before and it didn't seem to fill that much. I'd be doing a couple coats of primer, then sanding. Filler or self etching?

Etching Primer is for Bare metal. If you Prime over bear metal without using etching primer your going to get flakes when the sun hits it. ,, so on the bare metal use etching primer, if you have rust, wash with omonia first.
Coat your bare metal good, "etching primer sticks to metal", primer dont!
so put your etching primer on, "about a coat or 2" then continue with primer, if you have "pitting" sometimes it helps to get runs in your primer on purpose.
PS, sometimes it helps to use cheap paint. let it cure, look at where the problems are, cheap paint will help most of the problems, then refill and repaint the item after all is done healing.
