Loss of Power/Sputtering 96 Altima...

Here is the deal, I got my car back from my mechanic and it sounded louder than normal. There was no difference in power or anything, the engine just sounded louder.

Anyway, 2 weeks later and I am driving the car and the car was sputtering as if it was about to stall. I was able to pull over and it never did stall. When in park, if I step on the accelerator it sounds like its sputtering, etc.

Also, I noticed a smell of antifreeze/coolant when i got out of the car, however i was on a busy street and it might not have been from my car.

any ideas?

Yeah my car is doing the same thing to the tee! '95 GXE. When I got it back from the mechanic it just sounded louder, sort of stronger. Anyway, two weeks later it was sputtering real bad it felt like it was going to stall. It didn't do it before I had all my gaskets changed. Anything come to mind?

does any smoke come out of the tailpipe when you rev your motor in park? if so, what color is it? otherwise id take it back and bitch the hell out of that mechanic and make em fix it.
